The “Big Book” of Sex Addicts Anonymous (SAA) is a foundational text that outlines the SAA fellowship’s perspective on sex addiction, its progression, and a recovery program based on the Twelve Steps, adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous. It explores the challenges and potential for recovery from addiction, emphasizing spiritual transformation through the Twelve Steps. The book includes personal stories and insights from SAA members, illustrating the challenges and hope of recovery

We hope this video will be helpful to anyone who is struggling with compulsive sexual behavior of any kind, or is concerned about such behaviors in someone they love. Our goal is to describe sex addiction in a way that will help the potential sex addict make an informed determination of whether they are or aren’t addicted to sexual behavior. Then we outline a solution based on the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous that we have found to work for us.

This video was produced by the Primary Purpose Group of Sex Addicts Anonymous in Dallas, TX.

If you identify with what is shared in the video and would like to try the solution we have found, we recommend you attend a meeting and find a sponsor (someone who has already worked the 12 Steps) who can guide you through the process.
